9/11 reflections

Taking place 19 years ago, the terrorist attacks on the Twin Towers in New York City on September 11, 2001 left a last impression on an untold number of people. One of those impacted is social studies teacher Kenneth Schiumo Jr., who was in 5th grade at the time of the attacks. Attending school on Staten Island, Schiumo was just a few miles across the Upper Bay from Lower Manhattan on 9/11, he shares his memories and reflections on that day.
